who is L?

L , or L lawliet is a fictional character , and the antagonist in the anime and manga series : deathnote brilliantly written by tsugumi obha and illustrated by takeshi obata !! L goes by other aliases alongside his name , including hideki ryuga , and ryuzaki. in the series of deathnote , he is widely known as the "world's greatest detective". that means that as his job, he works on a variety of different cases , including the kira case in the anime/manga.

the show mainly portrays L as an enigmatic and highly intelligent man , who rarely interacts or shows his face to others. however , he is also quick witted , and unconventional !! L loves sweets , and candy a lot (so do i >:3)

why he is my favourite character !!

honestly , i could rant forever on why i love him (platonically) !!

one of the reasons why he is my favourite character of all time is because of his relatability (i am an L synpath). i think we are both percieved as odd, or hard to understand by many people around us , and i find it really nice to know that i am not the only person who feels this way , dispite the fact that he is fictional T w T . . . speaking of having someone to relate to , L is also one of my comfort characters for this very reason !! he has helped me pass through some difficult times in my life !! so that's nice ^_^

another reason i like his character so much is how amazingly written he is. i love the concept of morally gray characters in writing , who act on their own interests that do not necessarily fall under a greater good or evil. i don't know how to describe it , but i think this really helps make a character , and the plot of a story more interesting !!
